Description:
At 225 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 3 miles northeast of Hoyt to near Perry Lake to
near Pleasant Grove. Movement was northeast at 55 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small tree limbs and blow
around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Northeastern Topeka, Lawrence, Valley Falls, Oskaloosa, Tecumseh,
Eudora, Richland, Overbrook, Perry, McLouth, Meriden, Hoyt, Ozawkie,
Nortonville, Lecompton, Clinton, Winchester, Mayetta, Lone Star, and
Denison.
This includes Kansas Turnpike between mile markers 180 and 205.
