Description:
At 425 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 7 miles southwest of Melcher-Dallas to 8 miles
southeast of Chariton to 6 miles east of Corydon. Movement was
northeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Pella, Knoxville, Chariton, Albia, Melcher-Dallas, Eddyville, Rathbun
Lake, Knoxville Raceway, Lake Red Rock, Moravia, Russell, Lovilia,
Beacon, Bussey, Lacona, Harvey, Leighton, Williamson, Hamilton, and
Melrose.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 PM CDT for
south central, central and southeastern Iowa.
