At 713 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Conesville, or 8 miles north of Columbus Junction, moving northeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Strong winds could break small tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Muscatine, Columbus Junction, Durant, West Liberty, Wilton, Lone Tree, Riverside, Conesville, Bennett, Letts, Nichols, Atalissa, Cotter, Fredonia, Cranston, Muscatine County Fairgrounds, New Era, Bennett Park, Moscow, and Sunbury. This includes Interstate 80 in Iowa between mile markers 264 and 278.
