Description:
At 1033 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm
over Sacul, or 11 miles east of Rusk, moving northeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Trawick, Sacul, New Salem, Minden, Cushing, Mount Enterprise,
Reklaw, Glenfawn, Laneville, Looneyville, Brachfield, Lilbert and
Lawsonville.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional
information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
