Description:
A band of snow moving through the Eastern Highlands is reducing
visibility to around a quarter to a half mile at times. This is
especially true at pass and summit levels.
Locations impacted include...
Preston, Soda Springs, Montpelier, Malad Pass, Blackfoot Reservoir,
Palisades Reservoir, Georgetown Summit, Emigration Pass, and
Treasureton Summit.
Visibilities are below one mile in the area. If you are driving,
slow down and be on alert for other motorists. Low visibility
shortens the amount of time you have to react to situations.
Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in winter weather situations. Be
prepared for snow or ice covered roads. Slow down and allow extra
time when traveling.
