At 933 AM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm capable of producing a landspout 19 miles west of Bandon, or 31 miles northwest of Port Orford, moving east at 45 mph. This storm should reach the coast by 955 AM PDT. HAZARD...Landspouts, wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph, and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Bandon, Sunset Bay State Park, Charleston, Bullards Beach State Park, and Barview.
