Description:
At 146 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Hamby, moving northeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Abilene, Clyde, Albany, Throckmorton, Buffalo Gap, Lueders, Woodson,
Elbert, Fort Griffin, Caps, Potosi, View, Hamby, Nugent, Impact,
Us-183 Near The Throckmorton-Baylor County Line, Big Country Baptist
Assembly, and Mccarty Lake.
This includes Interstate 20 between Mile Markers 280 and 300.
Instruction:

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 500 PM CST for
west central Texas.
