Description:
At 805 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a north to south band of
strong thunderstorms over border of Haskell and Throckmorton
Counties. This band of storms was moving northeast at 40 mph.
These storms will move across much of Throckmorton County.
HAZARD...Wind gusts 45 to 50 mph and pea size hail, along with
frequent lightning and very heavy rain.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible. Heavy rain in a short period of time could cause
localized minor flooding, especially in low-lying or poor
drainage places.
Locations impacted include...
Throckmorton, Irby, Elbert, Us-183 Near The Throckmorton-
Baylor County Line, and The Intersection Of Us-380 And Highway 222.
