Description:
At 1244 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking an area of strong
thunderstorms over Hallsville, or 10 miles east of Longview, moving
northeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. A tornado cannot
be ruled out.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Longview, Marshall, Hallsville, Jefferson, Harleton, Woodlawn,
Berea, Nesbitt and Lassater.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional
