Description:
At 147 AM CST, Doppler radar was tracking line of strong
thunderstorms along a line from over Redwater to 6 miles north of
Berea, or along a line from 11 miles southwest of Wake Village to 21
miles southwest of Atlanta, moving southeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Atlanta, Linden, Queen City, Redwater, Maud, Bivins, Kildare,
McLeod, Lodi, Fairview, Avinger, Bloomburg, Douglassville, Domino,
Red Hill, Bryans Mill and Pruett.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional
information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
