Description:
At 209 AM CST, Doppler radar was tracking an area of strong
thunderstorms along a line from over Texarkana to over Saratoga, or
along a line from over Texarkana to 6 miles south of Mineral
Springs, moving northeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Texarkana, Wake Village, Ashdown, Nashville, Mineral Springs,
Nash, Red Lick, Tollette, Ogden, Saratoga, Mandeville, McNab, Red
Bluff, Millwood and Bright Star.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional
information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
