Description:
At 214 AM CST, Doppler radar was tracking an area of strong
thunderstorms along a line from over Liberty City to 7 miles
southeast of Kilgore, or along a line from near Gladewater to 7
miles southeast of Kilgore, moving northeast at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Longview, Marshall, Henderson, Kilgore, White Oak, Gladewater,
Hallsville, Overton, Tatum, New London, Clarksville City, East
Mountain, Liberty City, Diana, Harleton, West Mountain,
Joinerville, Lakeport, Easton and Union Grove.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional
information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
