Description:
At 426 AM CST, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Hosston to near Greenwood to 6 miles
northwest of Tenaha. Movement was northeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Shreveport, Bossier City, Carthage, Vivian, Greenwood, Blanchard,
Waskom, Benton, Stonewall, Logansport, Tenaha, Plain Dealing, Oil
City, Joaquin, Mooringsport, Hosston, Belcher, Gilliam, Deberry, and
Elysian Fields.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
