Description:
At 858 AM CST, Doppler radar was tracking strong showers and
thunderstorms along a line extending from 12 miles north of Beach
Access Six to near Los Fresnos High School to east Brownsville.
Movement was east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and rain reducing visibility to
less than 1 mile.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Torrential rain and wind will make
driving difficult for about 15 minutes in any one area as
the showers and storms race through. Total rainfall in the
heaviest bands between Los Fresnos, Rio Hondo, and Bayview
will be up to 0.75 inches.

Los Fresnos, South Padre Island, Arroyo City, Southmost, Olmito, Port
Of Brownsville, Cameron Park, Laureles, Downtown Brownsville, and
Brownsville.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate Highway 69 E between mile markers 1 and 10 until 915 AM.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
