Description:
At 404 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Terry to near Crystal Springs to near
Hopewell. Movement was northeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Jackson, Terry, and Hopewell around 410 PM CST.
Byram and Whites around 415 PM CST.
Harrisville around 420 PM CST.
Richland and Florence around 430 PM CST.
Star and Monterey around 435 PM CST.
Pearl, Braxton, and Piney Woods around 440 PM CST.
Brandon and Flowood around 450 PM CST.
Cato around 455 PM CST.
Those standing outside in lines at area voting precincts in the path
of these storms, should prepare for gusty winds, heavy rainfall, and
occassional lightning.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
High winds can bring down trees and large limbs resulting in serious
injury or property damage. Exercise extreme caution when outdoors
during such strong winds...and be especially aware of older trees.
