At 256 PM EST, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Homerville to near Mayday to Lake Park. Movement was northwest at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Lake Park, Lakeland, Valdosta, Ray City, Moody Air Force Base, I-75 At Exit 16, Remerton, Meigs, Dasher, Naylor, Courthouse, Greenwood, Barretts, Twin Lakes, Hansell, Valdosta Regional Airport, Kinderlou, I-75 At Exit 5, Clyattville, and I-75 At Exit 22.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
