Description:
At 818 AM CST, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 5 miles west of Shamrock to 4 miles southeast
of Sparks to near St. Louis to near Springer. Movement was northeast
at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Shawnee, Ardmore, Ada, Cushing, Seminole, Tecumseh, Sulphur,
Chandler, Davis, Lone Grove, Stroud, Prague, Wynnewood, Stratford,
Konawa, Byng, Meeker, Maud, Davenport, and Roff.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
