Description:
HAZARDS...A snow squall accompanied by winds of 20 MPH which can
rapidly reduce visibility to less than one mile.
LOCATION AND MOVEMENT...At 1258 PM EST, a snow squall was along a
line extending from Rosslyn to Tanksley and moving east at 35 MPH.
LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
Hazard, West Liberty, Stanton, Jackson, Salyersville, Beattyville,
Manchester, Hindman, Campton, Hyden, Booneville, Letcher, Mason,
Simpson, Henry, Lewis, Fincastle, Wellington, Vicco, and Campsites in
the Indian Creek area of the Daniel Boone National Forrest.

Use extra caution if you must travel into or through this squall.
Rapid changes in visibility are possible with heavier bands of snow
and perhaps a brief slushy accumulation mainly on elevated and
grassy surfaces.
