Description:
At 305 PM EST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
North Charleston, moving east at 60 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.
Locations impacted include...
North Charleston, Mount Pleasant, Summerville, Goose Creek,
Hanahan, Daniel Island, Naval Weapons Station Charleston,
I-26/I-526 Interchange, Ladson and Awendaw.
This includes the following highways...
I-26 between mile markers 204 and 215.
I-526 between mile markers 17 and 26.
