Expires:

Description:
Snow showers have tapered off to flurries across western North
Carolina this morning...and no additional accumulations are
expected. However, up to 1.5 inches of snow fell across portions
of the area overnight...primarily in areas just north and
northwest of the city of Charlotte. Temperatures have fallen into
the 20s across much of the area this morning, so any lingering
snow-covered or previously wet roads are likely to be slick and
hazardous, especially on bridges and overpasses. Use extra
caution if traveling across the area this morning and allow for
additional time to reach your destination. Temperatures are
expected to warm above freezing across most of the area between
1000 AM and 1100 AM.
