Description:
Patchy freezing fog has developed in sheltered valleys across
northern Alabama and southern middle Tennessee, with visibilities
dropping to 1/2 mile or less in isolated areas. Temperatures in
these locations are currently at or just below freezing and may pose
a risk for patchy freezing fog. Improving conditions are expected
shortly after sunrise as temperatures rise.
If driving this morning, slow down, use low-beam headlights, watch
for patchy black ice, and leave extra distance between you and the
vehicle in front of you.
The fog should begin to burn off by 8 AM CST.
