Description:
Light to moderate snow will continue to overspread much of eastern
New York and adjacent western New England through daybreak, before
tapering off by mid morning. Snowfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are
expected in many areas during this time, except a coating to an
inch across portions of the mid Hudson Valley, Litchfield County
and eastern Windham County in southern Vermont.
With cold ground temperatures in place, snow covered roadways and
slippery travel conditions are likely through this morning.
Motorists are urged to use extra caution, reduce speeds and allow
for extra braking distance between vehicles.
