Description:
At 728 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong
thunderstorms extending from near Shongaloo to 6 miles north of
Haughton, or extending from 7 miles east of Springhill to 11 miles
west of Minden, moving east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 30 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Minden, Homer, Haynesville, Cotton Valley, Emerson, Shongaloo,
Atlanta, Evergreen, Leton, Holly Springs, Couchwood, Walkerville
and Horsehead.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio

information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
