At 647 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms extending from 6 miles south of Haughton to near Campti, or extending from 9 miles southeast of Bossier City to 15 miles north of Natchitoches, moving northeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Ruston, Grambling, Jonesboro, Arcadia, Coushatta, Ringgold, Campti, Allen, Dubach, Simsboro, Martin, Hodge, Goldonna, North Hodge, Vienna, Hall Summit, East Hodge, Saline, Lucky and Ashland.
Instruction: 
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening weather conditions. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
