Description:
At 1229 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10
miles southeast of Atlanta, or 11 miles west of Junction City,
moving east at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

El Dorado, Minden, Homer, Smackover, Norphlet, Huttig, Junction
City, Farmerville, Haynesville, Bernice, Strong, Calion, Cooley,
Wesson, Urbana, Lawson, Lisbon, Atlanta, Lapile and Mount Holly.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
