Eastern Williamsburg County in northeastern South Carolina... * Until 730 AM EDT. * At 658 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Plantersville, or 8 miles northwest of Pawleys Island, moving north at 60 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. * This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern Georgetown, southwestern Horry, south central Marion and eastern Williamsburg Counties.
