* WHAT...Northwest winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph
expected.
* WHERE...Avery, Buncombe, Burke Mountains, Caldwell Mountains,
Henderson, McDowell Mountains, Mitchell, Rutherford Mountains, and
Yancey Counties.
* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 7 AM EST Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The combination of strong winds and cold
temperatures will result in wind chill values of 0 to -7 in
elevations above 3500 feet Saturday morning.
Instruction:
