Description:
* WHAT...For the Wind Advisory, east winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts
up to 55 mph expected. For the Cold Weather Advisory, very cold
wind chills as low as -3 above expected.
* WHERE...Middle Rio Grande Valley including the Albuquerque Metro
Area.
* WHEN...For the Wind Advisory, from 5 PM Tuesday to midnight MST
Tuesday Night. For the Cold Weather Advisory, from midnight
Tuesday Night to 8 AM MST Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects resulting
in bitter cold wind chills in the single-digits to below 0. Tree
limbs may be blown down. Expect strong crosswinds on area roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The potential exists for up to one inch of
snow in the Rio Grande Valley. Blowing snow may produce lowered
visibility as well.

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution and secure outdoor objects.
Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.
Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure

inside.
