* WHAT...For the Wind Advisory, east winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph. For the first Freeze Warning, sub-freezing temperatures in the lower 30s expected. For the second Freeze Warning, sub-freezing temperatures in the lower 30s expected. * WHERE...Dripping Springs, Globe/Miami, and Superior. * WHEN...For the Wind Advisory, until 2 PM MST this afternoon. For the first Freeze Warning, from midnight tonight to 9 AM MST Thursday. For the second Freeze Warning, from midnight Thursday Night to 9 AM MST Friday. * IMPACTS...Difficult driving conditions, especially for larger vehicles traveling along roads with crosswinds. Light, unsecured objects may become airborne. Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.

Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold. A Wind Advisory means that sustained wind speeds of between 30 and 40 mph are expected, or wind gusts of between 40 and 58 mph. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
