* WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations between 2 and 6 inches, with locally higher amounts possible. Winds could gust as high as 50 mph. Visibility less than a quarter of a mile. * WHERE...Portions of northeast and northern West Virginia. * WHEN...From Wednesday evening through Thursday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday morning commute. Strong winds could cause extensive damage to trees and power lines. Blowing snow could cause whiteout conditions.
