Description:
* WHAT...Lake effect snow. Additional snow accumulations of 3 to 7
inches, except 3 inches or less west of Munising. locally up to 12
inches where the heaviest bands set up east of Munising and north
of M-28.
* WHERE...Alger and Luce Counties.
* WHEN...Until 7 PM EST Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions
could impact the Thursday morning and evening commutes.
Instruction:
Slow down and use caution while traveling.
During lake effect snow, the weather can vary from bands of locally
heavy snow to dry weather just a few miles away. Visibilities can
also vary greatly. Be prepared for rapid changes in weather,
visibility, and road conditions.
