Description:
* WHAT...Lake effect snow. Additional snow accumulations of 4 to 12
inches, with the greatest snow totals just east of Munising along
and north of M-28 and in northern Luce County. Winds gusting as
high as 35 mph by Friday morning.
* WHERE...Alger and Luce Counties.
* WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Friday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult at times. The hazardous
conditions will impact the morning and evening commutes.
Instruction:
Slow down and use caution while traveling.
During lake effect snow, the weather can vary from bands of locally
heavy snow to dry weather just a few miles away. Visibilities can
also vary greatly. Be prepared for rapid changes in weather,
visibility, and road conditions.
