* WHAT...Snow. Snow accumulations of 2 to 5 inches above 5000 feet with locally higher amounts to 12 inches on higher mountain peaks west of Highway 395. Ridge winds gusting up to 70 mph. Southwest winds of 15 to 30 mph with gusts to 45 mph. * WHERE...Lassen-Eastern Plumas-Eastern Sierra Counties. * WHEN...From 7 AM to 10 PM PST Friday. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions, especially across Yuba Pass. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday morning and evening commutes. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches and strong cross winds will make travel difficult along Highway 70 and Highway 395, especially for high profile vehicles.
