Description:
* WHAT...Snow expected. Likelihood of moderate impacts from 3 to 6
inches of snow is greater than 90 percent, and up to a 50 percent
chance of isolated major impacts from 6 to 10 inches or more of
snow. Total snow accumulations 2 to 5 inches Eureka to Whitefish,
and Libby, then 6 to 10 inches Bull Lake and between Libby and
Happy's Inn, 12 to 18 inches of snow in the mountains closer to
the Idaho border.
* WHERE...Highway 93 Eureka to Whitefish, Highway 56 Bull Lake Road,
Highway 37 Eureka to Libby, and Highway 2 Kalispell to Libby.
* WHEN...From 11 AM Friday to 8 AM MST Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. For MODERATE impacts from snow,
expect disruptions to normal activities. Hazardous traveling
conditions. Use extra caution while driving. Closures and
disruptions to infrastructure may occur. For MAJOR impacts from
snow, expect considerable disruptions to normal activities.
Dangerous or impossible traveling conditions. Avoid travel in the
impacted areas if possible. The hazardous conditions could impact
the Friday evening commute, especially over higher passes.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...There is a 15 percent chance for a period of
mixed precipitation Friday evening along US-2 between Happy's Inn
and Marion.

Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while
driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken
on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and
