* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Likelihood of minor to moderate impacts from around 1 to 3 inches of snow is 80 percent, and 3 to 6 inches of snow is 20 percent. Ice accumulations around a light glaze. * WHERE...Bitterroot Valley and Missoula. * WHEN...From 5 AM Friday to 8 AM MST Saturday. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday morning and evening commutes, especially over higher passes. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Very light snow is expected to start Friday morning, but portions of the Bitterroot Valley will experience mixed precipitation. There is a question of how long the snow will last in the Missoula Valley, but there is also a chance of switching over to freezing rain in the afternoon. The Bitterroot Valley may improve in the afternoon, but expect black ice development after dark. Mixed precipitation continues Friday night.
