Description:
* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Likelihood of minor to
moderate impacts from around 1 to 3 inches of snow is 100 percent,
and 3 to 6 inches of snow is 60 percent. Total snow accumulations
of 3 to 5 inches Seeley Lake to Clearwater Junction, 1 to 2 inches
elsewhere. Ice accumulations around a light glaze.
* WHERE...I-90 East Missoula to Bearmouth, Highway 83 Seeley Lake to
Condon, and Highway 200 Bonner to Greenough.
* WHEN...From 5 AM Friday to 8 AM MST Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road
conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday
morning and evening commutes, especially over higher passes.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Cold arctic air will move into the region
tonight through Friday. This will bring a chance for freezing rain
especially along I-90 and Highway 200 during the day Friday.
