In West Virginia, Western Mineral County. * WHEN...Until midnight EST tonight. Steady snow this morning will transition to snow showers and squalls this afternoon and evening. Snow showers will gradually taper off tonight. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions on I-68 and US-40 west of La Vale, MD, US-50 west of New Creek, WV, and US-250 west of Hightown, VA. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday morning and evening commutes. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Heavy snow squalls and strong winds may lead to localized and brief near-blizzard conditions this afternoon and evening.
