* WHAT...Snow expected. Likelihood of moderate impacts from 3 to 6 inches of snow is greater than 90 percent, and up to a 50 percent chance of isolated major impacts from 6 to 10 inches or more of snow. Total snow accumulations 2 to 5 inches Eureka to Whitefish, and Libby, then 6 to 10 inches Bull Lake and between Libby and Happy's Inn, 12 to 18 inches of snow in the mountains closer to the Idaho border. * WHERE...Highway 2 Kalispell to Libby, Highway 56 Bull Lake Road, Highway 93 Eureka to Whitefish, and Highway 37 Eureka to Libby. * WHEN...Until 8 AM MST Saturday. * IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. For MODERATE impacts from snow, expect disruptions to normal activities. Hazardous traveling conditions. Use extra caution while driving. Closures and disruptions to infrastructure may occur. For MAJOR impacts from snow, expect considerable disruptions to normal activities. Dangerous or impossible traveling conditions. Avoid travel in the impacted areas if possible. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday evening commute, especially over higher passes.
