Description:
* WHAT...Dense freezing fog and freezing drizzle are expected.
Visibility reductions down to around 1/4 mile and a glazing of ice.
* WHERE...Portions of east central and northeast Colorado, northwest
and west central Kansas, and southwest Nebraska.
* WHEN...Until 5 PM MST /6 PM CST/ Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Travel will become hazardous as roads, especially
bridges and overpasses, become slick and visibilities drop to
around one quarter of a mile.
Instruction:
Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while
driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken
on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and
slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.
Persons traveling on Interstate 70 will experience travel delays and
hazardous driving conditions. Use extreme caution if you must travel.
Reduce speed and turn on headlights when driving in foggy conditions.
