* WHAT...Snow and mixed precipitation expected. Likelihood of minor to moderate impacts from around 1 to 3 inches of snow is 80 percent, and 3 to 6 inches of snow is 40 percent. Total snowfall 1 to 2 inches south and west of Garrison Junction including Butte, 3 to 5 inches MacDonald Pass and Ovando. * WHERE...Butte, Homestake Pass, MacDonald Pass, Highway 12 Garrison to Elliston, and Georgetown Lake. * WHEN...Until 8 AM MST this morning. * IMPACTS...For MODERATE impacts from snow, expect disruptions to normal activities. Hazardous traveling conditions. Use extra caution while driving. Closures and disruptions to infrastructure may occur. Winter traveling conditions. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Mixed precipitation is possible along I-90 west to Drummond and Highway 200 west to Clearwater Junction. Easterly wind gusts to 35 mph at Helmville to US-12 east of Garrison Junction, will produce periods of blowing snow and reduced visibility less than one mile at times. Wind chill temperatures as low as 10 degrees.
