Description:
* WHAT...Snow and mixed precipitation expected. Additional snowfall,
generally 1 to 3 inches. Likelihood of developing or ongoing
moderate impacts from 3 to 6 inches of snow is greater than 50
percent, and up to a 20 percent chance of isolated major impacts
from 6 to 10 inches or more of snow.
* WHERE...Mission Valley, Flathead Lake, Polson, and Flathead Valley.
* WHEN...Until 8 AM MST this morning.
* IMPACTS...For MODERATE impacts from snow, expect disruptions to
normal activities. Hazardous traveling conditions. Use extra
caution while driving. Closures and disruptions to infrastructure
may occur. For MAJOR impacts from snow, expect considerable
disruptions to normal activities. Dangerous or impossible
traveling conditions. Avoid travel in the impacted areas if
possible. Widespread closures and disruptions to infrastructure
may occur.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...There is a 15 percent chance of freezing rain
in the Mission Valley. Gusty northeast winds of 15 to 25 mph
around Columbia Falls.
