* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 6 and 12 inches, with locally up to 20 inches in the Cottonwoods. Winds will create areas of blowing snow, particularly Saturday late morning through afternoon. * WHERE...The Wasatch Mountains, and Western Uinta Mountains. * WHEN...Until 11 PM MST this evening. * IMPACTS...Winter driving conditions are expected. Traction laws may be enacted. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Heavy snowfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour are expected between 5 AM and 10 AM Saturday, with localized peak rates up to 3 inches per hour during this time. Moderate snow, with rates of 0.5 to 1 inch per hour, will then linger into Saturday afternoon, especially for northwest flow favored locations like the Cottonwoods.
