Description:
* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations
between 1 and 3 inches and ice accumulations between one tenth and
two tenths of an inch.
* WHERE...Portions of south central and southeast Kentucky.
* WHEN...From 7 AM this morning to 7 AM EST Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact the Monday morning and evening commutes.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow possibly mixed with sleet will develop
this morning, and then change to freezing rain in the afternoon
and evening. A switch to plain rain is expected tonight. Remaining
precipitation will change back to snow during the day Monday. The
heaviest precipitation is expected this afternoon and this
evening. Although total snowfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are
forecast in most locations, the largest amount on the ground at
any given time may be less due to freezing rain and rain occurring
in the middle of the winter storm, atop the initial snowfall.

driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken
on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and
