Description:
* WHAT...Snow and blowing snow. Additional snow accumulations of
2 to 4 inches. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph. Visibility
reduced to one half mile.
* WHERE...Thompson Pass and Keystone Canyon.
* WHEN...Until 9 AM AKST Sunday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Areas of blowing
snow could significantly reduce visibility to one half mile or
less for periods of time. The cold wind chills as low as 40
below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as
30 minutes.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow and blowing snow will continue through
this morning. Cold temperatures of 5 to 10 below zero and winds
gusting to 45 mph will result in wind chills as low as 40 below
zero.
