Description:
* WHAT...Snow. New snow accumulations today through Thursday morning
between 3 and 5 inches, with over 6 inches possible on the ridges
and west facing slopes, mainly to the west of Route 219. Winds
gusting as high as 40 mph will create significant blowing and
drifting of the fluffy snow.
* WHERE...Cambria and Somerset Counties.
* WHEN...Until noon EST Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact the Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning
commutes.
Instruction:
Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while
driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken
on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and
slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury. The latest road
