Description:
* WHAT...Lake effect snow expected. Additional snow accumulations 6
to 10 inches in the most persistent lake snows this afternoon
through Wednesday night. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph will
result in areas of blowing snow at times.
* WHERE...Wayne, Northern Cayuga, and Oswego Counties.
* WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Travel will be difficult at times with moderate snow and
areas of blowing snow lowering visibility to a half mile. The
hazardous conditions will impact the Tuesday evening and Wednesday
morning and evening commutes.
Instruction:
Lake effect snow will fall in relatively narrow bands. If traveling,
be prepared for rapidly changing road conditions and visibilities.

heavy snow with greatly reduced visibilities to dry conditions just
a few miles away. Be prepared for rapid changes in weather,
