Description:
* WHAT...Snow. Additional snow accumulations up to one inch. Winds
gusting as high as 45 mph.
* WHERE...In Maryland, Extreme Western Allegany County. In Virginia,
Western Highland County.
* WHEN...Until 11 AM EST this morning.
* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road
conditions on I-68 and US-40 west of La Vale and US-250 west of
Hightown, VA. The hazardous conditions could impact travel
especially during the overnight hours. Strong winds could cause
damage to trees and power lines.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snowfall rates around 0.5 to 1 inch per hour
are possible at times through Thursday morning especially in
embedded snow squalls. Wind chills of 15 to -5 are possible
through Thursday morning.

Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while
driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken
