* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations up to one inch and ice accumulations of a light glaze to 0.04 inches. * WHERE...In Colorado, Kit Carson and Yuma Counties. In Kansas, Cheyenne and Sherman Counties. * WHEN...From 3 AM MST /4 AM CST/ to 11 AM MST /noon CST/ Saturday. * IMPACTS...Roads, especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road conditions. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The favored area for ice lies to the east of Highway 59 and south of Highway 34 in eastern Colorado, locations to the west of Highway 59 in Kit Carson and Yuma counties may not see any ice; same as across northern portions of Yuma county. This threat is temperature dependent as a degree or two warmer would support rainfall and eliminate any icing potential.

Slow down and use caution while traveling. For road conditions in Kansas, Nebraska, and Colorado call 511. Do not use GPS for alternate routes or go around barricades. Be prepared for slick roads. Slow down and use caution while driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury. Persons traveling on Interstate 70 may experience travel delays and hazardous driving conditions. Use extreme caution if you must travel.
