Description:
* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow and sleet
accumulations between 1 and 3 inches with locally 3 to 4 inches in
the southern Green Mountains and foothills of the southern
Adirondacks. Ice accumulations up to two tenths of an inch.
* WHERE...Northwestern Connecticut, western Massachusetts, Taconics
and the Lake George Saratoga region of eastern New York, and
southern Vermont.
* WHEN...From noon today to 5 AM EST Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions will likely impact today's evening commute.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Light snow overspreads the region this
afternoon, before mixing with sleet and freezing rain later this
afternoon into this evening. Precipitation will taper off late
tonight.
