Description:
* WHAT...Additional wet snow accumulations of 2 to 5 inches with
the highest amounts expected at elevations above 1000 ft. Winds
gusting as high as 35 mph may result in patchy blowing and
drifting snow including Eagle Summit.
* WHERE...White Mountains and the High Terrain South of the
Yukon River.
* WHEN...Until 10 PM AKDT Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Up to 5 inches of snow is expected Tuesday
evening through Wednesday evening. Warmer temperatures with
highs in the 40s are expected Thursday through Sunday, but
nighttime temperatures dip below freezing resulting in a
potentially treacherous freeze-thaw cycle.
